decided to switch careers. There was a time where you chose your
profession and stuck with it until retirement and many people
still follow that path. An increasing number of people, however,
are deciding to give up their first choice and try something
new. For many, it is a move to a new country, or an exploration
of a new skill, but for others, it's moving the skills they
already have to a new sector.
If you're taking the plunge and ...

Will people pay real dollars for in-game virtual money to help
their virtual characters buy in-game goods?
One gamer, who goes by the screen name Haylo, said he spent $10
to $20 real dollars a month on in-game platinum(all nonexistent,
of course) to buy weapons and other goods in
Dark Age of Camelot
(DAOC), but would spend more if he could afford it.
Most video games have some form of currency. In many ways, the
in-game economy is similar to a real world economy - goods and
services are ...

You are looking for a job and you don't know where to start.
Don't panic, this is a frequent problem job seekers come across
every day. The best place to start is Internet. Things aren't as
they use to be a few years ago when everyone would have looked
for a new job in a newspaper or trade magazine. Companies used
head hunting and search firms in order to find good workers.
Nowadays employers look for new workers over the Internet and
employees use it to look for jobs.
It may look as finding a ...

and investments never pursued finance in college? Did you know
many never even went to college? There are people who have built
successful careers in investments or the financial industry grew
and learned on the job.
Like I said, there are many branches to this tree. ...

"Pack your Career and Let's Go"
How many times have you relocated? How many jobs have you held
in the past 10 years? Do these questions sound familiar? I bet
they do. Military spouses face unique challenges when it comes

However technology is opening doors and creating opportunity for
military spouses to establish careers that travel with them.

In many countries around the globe, people are born into their
station in life and hence their professions. It is unnecessary
for them to plan a career as they are expected to perform one
specific job their entire lives. These cultures do not consider
personal growth or the possibility of choosing one's profession.
America, on the other hand, was built on self-reinvention, and
today's economy demands it. Those born before 1946 are less
likely to have changed careers or even worked for more ...
